David & Lisa Heidwein
Owners, Lead Editors
Mosh Pits was founded in 2017 by husband-and-wife duo David and Lisa, two lifelong music lovers who have spent over 30 years in the pits. From their early days rocking out to the Spin Doctors, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Green Day, and even experiencing the madness of Woodstock, their passion for live music has never wavered. When they’re not at a show or running AMP, you can find them cheering (and occasionally screaming) at the TV during Buffalo Bills games—because being a Bills fan is basically a contact sport in itself. They’re also hardcore fantasy football enthusiasts, proving that whether it’s the mosh pit or the gridiron, competition and chaos are just part of their DNA. David and Lisa built American Mosh Pits to bring fans, bands, and the scene together, and they’re just getting started. Their goal? To make AMP a household name in the metal scene, where fans and artists alike know that when it comes to heavy music, high energy, and raw passion, AMP is where it all comes together.
Public Relations and Event Coordinator
Vin Deskiewicz has 35+ years of experience in the world of heavy metal music. He began going to mosh pit shows and festivals monthly as a fan starting in 1994 and never stopped. Heavy metal music has always been his passion, hobby and soundtrack of his life. One of the unique traits of Vin is he will be right in the mosh pit experiencing the show with the crowd instead of watching it from a media area. In his off time Vin takes care of his parents, enjoys archery hunting and the beaches on his lifelong home, the Delmarva Peninsula.

Mark Joined the team in early 2024. Mark brings his knowledge of the online world to help take American Mosh Pits to new levels. He is tasked with growing social media and producing various AMP projects. Besides AMP, Mark is the sole owner operator of Beyond The Barrier, a online publication focusing on disability inclusion within the music industry. When he is not working he's usually found in the mountains enjoying nature or spending time with his family.
